Optimism

It’s easy to get caught up in the challenges we face as a town – but there is so much good happening in Brighton right now. Residents are civically engaged and showing up to town meetings, new ideas are surfacing, and the community is actively shaping its future. That energy is rare, and it’s worth taking the time to acknowledge and appreciate how far we’ve come as a town.

From major infrastructure projects that will make our town safer and more resilient, to neighborhood initiatives that bring people together, we are building something special here in the canyon. As we plan for the next chapter in Brighton’s history, we can take confidence in the fact that we’re on the right path (and have the best snow on Earth).

Like any town, we’re not perfect. But Brighton isn’t a place defined by its problems – it’s a place defined by possibilities and potential. That’s the energy I want to carry into the mayor’s office.
